Week #2 in Nebraska. Although the weather wasnt as favorable as last week (Wednesday provided us 30 mph winds, snow and a high of 20) the guys perservered and got a bunch done. As you can see in the photos below, all of the walls are stacked and were ready to start tackling the roof. ICS has the panel order, and if Bill can coordinate it he's going to get some photos of the panels in production to add to the collage as well.

Starting the week 4 courses up. The weather is fine and were really on a roll.

Andrew, driving in a 14" spike to lock the corners together.

Kelli, following the spikes with rebar every 6' in the middle of the walls... Thats a lot of rebar.

More rebar. Log walls are "pinned" at all door and window openings as well. The rebar that Andrew is driving in is only the tip of the ice berg. That piece is over 4' long!

Wednesday brought snow, cold and wind. And lots of each

Kelli and Andrew are not impressed by mother nature.

The snow has let up, but not the cold. John, trying to decide how he let Bill talk him into this!!

Undetered by the cold, the guys are still plugging along. 2 courses from the top of the wall!

"Man-Camp"

Peeling logs is an exercise in patience. Mike has peeled, planed or scraped almost every log you see on this project.

End of the second week. The guys worked hard and the results show it.

Walls are all stacked and were ready to begin on the roof.
